Situation: The digital equivalent of a gravel patch

Jimmy’s RV Storage had the best customer service in town — but their website? Not quite the same story. Outdated visuals, clunky navigation, and zero clarity made it feel more like a half-finished DIY project than the digital storefront of a family-run business with 400+ spaces.

People were calling with basic questions the site should’ve answered. Mobile users gave up before booking. And Google wasn’t particularly impressed either.

They needed a custom WordPress website that worked — fast, clean, and simple — just like their parking lots.

Story: From duct tape to damn-that’s-nice

Jimmy Jr. reached out with a mission: make the website look like the business actually cared. His dad had started the storage company years ago, and it had grown steadily, but their digital side didn’t keep up.

The brief was clear:

  • Don’t overcomplicate it
  • Make it work well on mobile
  • Keep it trustworthy and family-friendly
  • Build something they could easily update (without calling us every time)

So, we took that straight-shooting brief and rolled up our sleeves.

Solution: Clarity, clicks, and a custom WordPress build

We designed and developed a brand-new WordPress website for RV storage, purpose-built to get visitors from point A to “book now” without detours.

Key project goals:

  • Fast-loading and fully responsive design
  • Custom icons and visual cues for clarity
  • Sticky contact info for easy reach-out
  • Embedded location map and FAQ for transparency
  • Contact form and call-to-action buttons that convert
  • Legal pages, image gallery, and simple backend CMS

Tech stack we used:

  • CMS: WordPress
  • Page Builder: Elementor Pro
  • Hosting: Premium, optimized for performance
  • Email: Branded business mail suite
  • Security: SSL, spam protection, regular maintenance

We also migrated the site from the previous provider, set up their custom email, and wrapped it all into one of our hosting and SLA packages. No drama. Just done.

Roadmap: How we got it all live
01
Discovery & planning

We kicked off with a video call, a few Google Docs, and a mutual understanding: let’s keep it clean and functional.

02
Design

We ditched the stock-photo look and created a layout that felt trustworthy and local — with clear CTAs and no fluff.

03
Development

Fully custom WordPress site using Elementor Pro for future flexibility. No cookie-cutter themes, just code that does its job.

04
Launch

We took care of DNS setup, email migration, and domain redirects. We even sent Jimmy Jr. a simple video on how to update images.

05
Support

Through our SLA, we keep the site running smoothly. They get weekly updates, backups, and support that actually answers.

Results: A site that matches the business

Let’s be honest: no one is excited to visit an RV storage site — but that’s exactly why design matters.

Here’s what changed:

  • +43% increase in page views
  • Bounce rate dropped by 31%
  • +30% more mobile form submissions
  • Zero support tickets from confused users
  • Indexed by Google within 3 days

Most importantly, the site now reflects the professionalism of the business behind it. No stock clutter. No flashy animations. Just real info that drives action.
